First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pareto Intelligence.
Junior Backend Developer
I was given a technical task to complete within 7 days. I was allowed to use only the standard library, but caching was optional. They were looking for how well I handled memory and CPU usage. This task was designed to test if I could understand instructions and make smart guesses when the requirements weren't totally clear.
- Can you confirm if all the key-value pairs in the dictionary align with the columns in the CSV file?
Analyst
The interview was about 2 hours long and broken down into 3 parts: a behavioral section, a technical section, and a Q&A with current team members. In total, I spoke with 5 people.
- What attracts you to Pareto and the healthcare industry?
UX Designer
It was a pretty smooth process, exactly what I expected with three rounds, and I got to meet with leadership incrementally. Since there weren't any other designers involved, the 'technical' part was really about assessing how a designer would take ownership of a product.
- Have you worked as the sole designer alongside a product team before? If so, how did you integrate your design process with them?
Analyst
The interview process started with a phone interview, followed by a 2-hour in-person session. During the in-person part, there's an informal break where two team members take you out for coffee to make things more casual and engaging.
- Tell me about a situation where you had to help a coworker improve their performance or their working relationship with you when they weren't meeting expectations or were difficult to work with.
