Technical Coding

I sent my resume via email to HR, and then I was invited for an interview about three weeks later. The interviewer started by telling me about the company, the tech stack they use, and their future goals. After that, they asked me about various coding techniques, and I was asked to analyze a piece of code, explain its functionality, and identify potential bottlenecks and issues.

Technical System Design

I had a call from a recruiting agency. For me, there were 2 steps, both Skype interviews that were about an hour each. First was a Technical specialist interview where they reviewed my CV and asked questions about my background and field of work. The second was a Technical interview with tasks that didn't involve writing code, like 'how would you solve this task' or 'describe the design of the system based on the following requirements'. After the second interview, they realized they needed someone with experience in a different programming language.
