I had an online interview first. I let them know I'd be on vacation in Florida the next week but could come in person. They agreed, and I took half a day off my vacation for the meeting. It was a joke because some interviewers didn't show up, and a planned tour was skipped. They seemed to focus only on the negatives, like they were trying to find a reason not to hire me. They didn't follow up for a couple of weeks. I had to reach out to them about professional courtesy, especially since I used vacation time to meet them. Pay attention to the other interview comments; they are valid.

It began with a phone screening from HR. After that, I had a phone interview with someone from the main company, Culligan. Lastly, I did an on-site interview. It became apparent during the interviews that the job described in the posting was very different from the actual job they were hiring for. It would start out as described, but then become a role where one person would be responsible for all the IT duties of the 160-employee company, from minor employee issues to disaster recovery planning. I've done the 'one-man-show' IT thing before and will never do it again because it leads to burnout. No company's IT department should have only one person. I told them I wasn't interested anymore right after the interview.

I sent my resume in online and then had two phone chats and two face-to-face meetings over about three weeks. They made me an offer, which I took. The whole thing felt pretty chill and not rushed at all; I liked how casual the phone call was, no stress.

I talked to 2 people from India. They didn't seem interested in my background even though they had my resume. It felt like a waste of my time since they scheduled the interview without a proper screening. I felt disrespected from the beginning.
