Sales
The hiring process can sometimes be a bit lengthy, but they do a good job of keeping you in the loop and making sure you know what's expected by the manager and the team. You'll have a mix of in-person meetings and phone calls with the team.
- What makes you interested in foot and ankle?
Medical Sales Representative
It was like 6 or 7 phone calls, with the recruiter, distributor, team members, distributor again, you name it. Only one was planned, the rest were just cold calls throughout the day. The first few interviews were super fast, done in a day or two. Then, radio silence for over a week despite me following up, until two or three more cold call interviews happened. The last one ended with them saying they'd be in touch about an offer. They also sent me this massive 45-page packet about ankle surgery techniques and a 'competency exam' to finish before moving on. Another week passed with no response even after I followed up multiple times. Then, a cold call around 3pm on a Friday, asking me to drive over an hour to their HQ for a 4:30 meeting. I went, no idea why. All those hours studying the products and doing the exam felt pointless because they barely touched on the packet, just gave it a quick, stern look. Left that 2-hour+ meeting with no offer, and then withdrew my application after they hit me up again late one afternoon the following week for another last-minute drive to HQ.
- Are you willing to drive a 5 hour route every day delivering products to the more seasoned reps?
- Do you like to golf?
- Are you going to be available 24/7?
Sales Associate
I went through several interviews and I'm still waiting to hear back about a job offer. It was going to be a great role, but unfortunately, due to some unexpected issues on the company's end, I won't be hired. I do plan on staying in touch though, as it seems like a really good company to work for.
- Are you able to lift more than 50 pounds?
- Can you work on weekends?
- Can you work early mornings?
Territory Manager
The interview process was straight forward but all over the place. I wasn’t asked any STAR format, behavioral questions. I was mainly asked if I understood what it was like being a 1099 employee with no base pay.
- Do you know that this role has no base pay or bonus?
- Could you introduce yourself briefly?
- What makes you want this specific job?
