The interview was pretty straightforward. They're mainly looking to understand your personality, how you interact with others as a team member, and your general work ethic. It's about seeing how well you collaborate with colleagues.

The interview process was poorly managed and unprofessional. I interviewed at the Atlanta office, and the initial interview was well-structured and lasted about 1.5 hours. I was told the role would be filled within the next month. However, after two months of no contact and ignored emails/calls, I was unexpectedly asked to come in again. I had to reschedule my approved time off to accommodate their last-minute request for a Wednesday interview, after initially being told Tuesday. This second interview, also 1.5 hours, involved asking the same questions without explanation for the delay. Despite making significant efforts to accommodate their shifting schedules, I was not given an offer. While the position appealed to me, the unfair treatment as a candidate makes me unwilling to reapply.

I applied in September 2016, and then had a 1.5-hour phone interview 3 months later with a senior manager. It was by far one of the most unprofessional phone screenings I have experienced. The interviewer seemed busy and was typing the whole time, not paying attention to my responses. Then, once they stopped typing, they would ask 3 questions at a time and wouldn't even let me finish answering the first one. I had done a lot of thorough research on the company beforehand and had many questions ready, but I was met with short, robotic responses. The interviewer's attitude from the start gave me the impression they weren't interested in me as a candidate, or in conducting the interview on a Friday evening, or even in the company itself. An interview isn't just for candidates to sell themselves; it's also a platform for the employer to share details not in the job description. It's better to use it well instead of making such a negative first impression.

The interview process is super long. I had two phone calls and then two in-person interviews where I met about 8 people. It was pretty draining, but you get a feel for who you'll be working with. The accounting team seemed like really great people. I got an offer, but it was too late because I had already accepted a job elsewhere in a better location.
