Had an interview with the Direct Manager and also with HR. Then there was a presentation meeting for me to present to the Direct Manager and VP of Sales. I also shared references from 2 previous employers. Then I got the Job Offer.

The interview process was great and not too long, which was appreciated. All the interviews were 45 minutes long, a good amount of time to get to know each other. Nothing about the process would be changed.

Recruiter hit me up for the job. Then phone screen, then met with CRO, then industry expert, then VP of Sales, and finally NE Sales Leader. Took a month, everyone was great. But then the final steps were super misleading and unprofessional. First, the recruiter messaged me on LinkedIn saying I got the job. Then another recruiter called to say they were prepping an offer and I'd hear back soon. A whole week passed, so I nudged the recruiter about the offer. They said they suddenly decided not to increase headcount and wouldn't be offering me the job. So after being told I had the job, that an offer was coming, and then being ghosted until I asked, I found out they weren't increasing headcount. Super unprofessional and a waste of my time. A month wasted to mislead me, left a bad taste for Papaya Global.
