Behavioral Presentation

This was a really long, informal, and drawn-out interview process. I had several interviews with the recruiter, then managers, and then some operational leaders. The last interviews were kind of unstructured and strange. One of the operational leaders talked a lot about his own successes in the company and how he's hired other HR leaders before. He was pretty loud and didn't seem like he represented the company well.

The hiring team reached out to me, but during the interview, I felt extremely uncomfortable and decided to end it early and decline any future interviews. The interviewer only wanted to focus on anything negative about me and nothing job-related. He asked several times for examples of where I need to improve and feedback I’ve received. While I provided insight on my development areas, he continued to drill and only wanted me to belittle myself. Worst interview I’ve had in 20 years of experience.

Behavioral

The interview process involved 3 interviews. It was primarily behavioral, focusing on strengths and weaknesses. It's important to be familiar with the Panda Way and Mission. They emphasize their culture of respect and win-win, so be ready to discuss how you relate to it and tie your answers to the Panda Way. Since it's a family-owned business at its core, any experience with that, like working for parents or family, is beneficial.
