General Manager
The hiring event I went to was great. Everyone was super friendly and easy to chat with, which made me even more excited about the company. The whole process was pretty straightforward.
- What is your approach when dealing with an underperforming employee?
General Manager
The interviewers were late for my first two interviews. When they finally showed up after I asked if they were joining, they were on their phones the entire time. For the final interview, they gave me the wrong store location, which made me drive 30 minutes to the wrong place. Then they moved my interview to a different location. They were unprofessional and disorganized in all three interviews.
- Could you fire someone that needs their job to support their family?
General Manager
You send in your application, which includes your resume and sometimes some initial questions. If they like your application, a recruiter will probably call you to chat about your background, if you're available, and if you're interested. Then, you'll likely have an in-person interview at the workplace. You might talk to a manager or a few people. They'll probably ask about how you handle customers, if you can work fast, and if you'll be a good fit for the team.
- Tell me about a time you dealt with a tough customer and how you resolved it.
- What makes you want to work for Panda Express and what's your take on their company culture?
