I went into the restaurant and they asked me questions from a sheet. They interviewed me right there in the restaurant, which was kind of noisy. They asked a lot of questions about my goals and some personal questions.

The company has a good culture and nice employees, but they really drag out the interview process. I didn't even apply for anything; a recruiter contacted me about these jobs after seeing my LinkedIn and resume. They seem really interested at first, but then make you go through a month-long interview process for nothing. I had two phone interviews and two in-person interviews, only to be told they chose someone else. It's frustrating because the Panda Cares Coordinator role was temporary (6 months), and they spent a whole month on interviews, so you'd only really work there for 5 months with no guarantee of an extension. It's a neutral experience overall because some of the people are pleasant. Seriously, stop wasting people's time with such long interview processes.

The whole thing took about a week and a half. First, there was a phone screen, then an in-person interview with three people, though that one took a while to set up. They have you "study" stuff beforehand about company values and your own professional goals, which you then have to talk about. It sounds like a lot, but the interviews themselves aren't that bad. I didn't take the job because it was kind of a red flag that they didn't say it was temporary in the listing or the first call, and they couldn't even give a time frame. For a company that talks about being humble, they really don't seem to value good communication.
