After meeting a company engineer at Silicon Milk Roundabout, I was emailed and invited for an initial hour-long interview. This first interview was a great chat about my experience with two senior team members, and I also got to ask them lots of questions about the company. Everyone was really nice and helpful, and it was awesome meeting them and seeing the office. Then, I was given a coding test to do at home. Even though take-home tests can be a pain, this one was actually really well put together. It let me learn a new technology and dive into an interesting subject. You'd learn a lot from it, even if you didn't get the job. The last stage was coming back in to discuss my solutions. Once again, everyone was super friendly and smart, and I was really impressed with the caliber of engineers at Panaseer. It was mostly a discussion about the problem as we went through my answers. What really stood out was how nice the work environment seemed and how flexible the team was during the whole process. When I had more questions after the final interview, they were totally fine with me coming back again to talk about their architecture and future plans.

First, I had a screening call that lasted less than an hour, where they asked general questions about my background and interests. Then, I had an interview with two consultants and a manager from the customer success team. This part involved a data analysis presentation that took about 30 minutes and a 20-minute presentation on customer success processes. Honestly, preparing for the customer success presentation felt excessive, especially since the data analysis task itself required so much time to get ready for.

Behavioral Technical Coding

The process involved several steps. First, I spoke with the hiring manager to understand the role. Then, there was a 'values fit' chat with two engineers. After that, I completed a take-home coding assignment. The final stage was a panel interview with three engineers. Everything was done remotely via Zoom, and it was great to interact with many different people. It felt like they were genuinely interested in getting to know me, which was a nice touch, even during the technical parts.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process has 3 rounds. First, an initial screening with a manager to chat about your background, experience, and if you're a good fit. Second, a technical assessment where you'll do a data analysis presentation using SQL to show your skills. Third, a final interview with senior leadership to talk about soft skills, how you work with teams, and if you align with the company culture.
