I was told I'd hear back the next week about progressing to the next stage, but then didn't get a response or feedback for two weeks. After that, I received a call and an email explaining they were sick and couldn't respond, promising a call the following day. However, no call happened. The day after that, I got a generic, no-reply email with rejection feedback, even though they could have just rejected me when they initially called.

This interview was a good learning experience. The questions were tough but fair, and I liked that I could talk about my skills and background. The interviewer was professional and kept the conversation flowing naturally. I was nervous initially, but I got more comfortable. I feel I did okay on most questions, but I know I can always do better. No matter how it turns out, I gained a lot from this and will use it to get ready for the next time.

The interview process included a self-introduction, discussion of working experience, expected salary, availability for shift hours, preferred working location, personality assessment, situational questions, questions about the company background and operations, and a forward-looking question about my 5-year plan. The interview concluded with a Q&A session.

I only had one interview during their 1/week open-door interview sessions. Anyone who likes to apply for a job, just comes in to one of these open interviews and applies on the spot, no need to set up appointments. HR interviews each applicant individually. They look at how you present yourself (smiling is very important because as you've noticed in every 4-5 star hotel everyone smiles for a reason - it portrays kindness and a feeling of being welcomed). Interview goes for about 30 mins max. and they always tell you at the end they "will be in touch with you" (they don't hire on the spot) Couple days later you should know the answer by phone (if yes) or by email (if no).
