Sales Manager
BIGGEST ISSUE: the company ghosted me after my final interview. I diligently reached out to HR in the three weeks following my final interview, and in the last exchange was told that she (HR) would reach back out to me in 3-4 business days. Never heard thing. As of this writing, 2 months after my final interview, I haven't heard a word and I know that no one has been hired for the position. Regardless, if I wasn't the choice, tell me. If the company is going through restructuring at the start of its fiscal year and needs more time, tell me. The lack of communication of any kind was completely unprofessional. Due to this, I decided a month after the final interview that if a job was offered, I would not accept. How you do anything is how you do everything, I wouldn't want to work for a company that lacks basic business courtesy. A total of five interviews. First was an HR screen, 30 minutes. Second was a 60 minute unstructured interview with the hiring manager. Third and Fourth were each 45 minutes with two different ecosystem leaders relevant to the job opening, unstructured. Fifth was 60 minutes with VP and EVP where I was required to create and present a 30/60/90 plan. I actually enjoyed each person with whom I interviewed. The 30/60/90 seemed ridiculous, given that I didn't know the internal structure of the organization, but I applied myself and provided a good plan.

District Sales Manager
The whole thing took about 3 months to wrap up. It started with a quick chat with a recruiter, then a call with the hiring manager. After that, there were two panel interviews, the first with two leaders and the second with three people. It finished with a call with the HRBP. Everything felt really drawn out, and it took them more than three weeks just to make the final decision. Just a heads-up for anyone looking at Prisma Cloud roles: the team there has a lot of people leaving, some executives have departed, and they haven't been hitting their sales targets much in the last year. The cultures of the overlay teams are pretty different from the main sales team roles. I'd really suggest doing your homework on the job itself and the team around it.
- What's your plan for the first 90 days?
- How would you go about building a team culture?
- Can you share your reasons for wanting to join PANW and what prompted your departure from your previous position?
Sales Manager
I applied online and heard back from a recruiter pretty quickly. Had my first call with them that same week. They were trying to see if I had experience with big accounts, like Fortune 100 companies.
- What are your thoughts on what you could bring to the team?
