First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Palm Beach Tan.
Assistant Manager
After applying, I was contacted via text to set up an interview. A phone call followed to discuss my interest in the role and schedule the main interview. I attended the in-person interview process, but then was ghosted.
- Can you describe your previous role and responsibilities?
- How would you go about selling an item you have on hand?
Executive Manager
It was a short and repetitive process. They really tried to emphasize how great the company is to work for, highlighting awesome benefits and perks. However, the core of it felt like you'd constantly have to sell aggressively just to make any profit.
- Can you tell me about your availability?
- Could you outline your qualifications?
Assistant Manager
Since it was for an assistant manager role, I had to go through multiple interviews. Luckily, I got called the same day as my second interview and was offered the job. I ended up at a great store with a fantastic manager, and I actually got promoted to manager of my own store because they frequently promote from within. They asked me basic questions about my previous work history and what I could bring to the company and the Palm Beach brand. The best part was being asked to sell a lotion since the job involves commission.
- Can you demonstrate selling us a lotion?
