I had an initial 30-minute phone interview, and then a 2-hour in-person interview. It took them more than a month to respond with their decision, which was disappointing given how long it took.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The initial stages of the interview process were conducted via phone and email. The in-person interview involved meeting with various people and teams throughout the day, including the Associate Vice President of Technology, the IT management team, and IT staff. I also met with the Senior VP responsible for the IT department. The discussions covered technical, managerial, and strategic topics. An offer was extended, but I decided to stay with my current employer. Overall, it was a great interview experience, and everyone at PBA was very welcoming.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process wasn't hard, just standard questions from a nice committee of four people. They asked about my education and experience, and how I got interested in what I study. It lasted about 45 minutes, with everyone asking a couple of questions. They didn't seem into high-tech in the classroom, which is surprising since that's the future, and they don't have online courses. I actually applied a year before, so they called me when their teacher left, more out of need than anything, so I wasn't expecting much.

  • Why did the French speakers asking questions not seem French?
  • How did you feel about not being hired given the job seemed like too much work and travel for part-time?
