First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Palladion Services.
Account Manager
Had a quick interview. It seemed like they have a lot of people leaving, so they interview tons of candidates daily. I filled out some forms and was asked general questions about my resume and if I could make the commute.
- Can you commute to the office?
Security Officer
You'll start with the receptionist, then meet with two VPs, and finally the President. If you don't get an interview with everyone, it's over. Dress code is business casual. No need to fill out an application, just call and ask for an interview. Ask for $20/hour or more, as they'll match your request and won't let you negotiate it later.
- What's your motivation for working here?
- What's your expected tenure with our company?
- Can you share some of your previous experiences?
Operations Assistant
I got to the building and followed the sign that said "Palladion Interviews" to the basement office. There were about 7 other people waiting there. They had us all fill out an application again. After the previous person's interview, the interviewer came into the waiting room and asked blankly who had finished the paperwork. The interview itself was really unpleasant. The interviewer seemed really unhappy with his job. When I asked about the position's duties, he revealed that the actual job description was very different from what was advertised. It was a negative experience, and I would not accept a job from this company.
- Why are you the best candidate for this role?
Account Manager
It felt like a bait and switch. I did two interviews that went well. Then I met the president, which was rough. He was stonefaced and unimpressed, saying my skills weren't applicable. He also told me the training was 6-9 months as a concierge, which wasn't mentioned before when they said it was a 'junior management position.'
