Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pall.
R&D Engineer
The interview focused on your logic, technical skills, and project management abilities, specifically for developing products intended for sale. The interviewer wants to see you relaxed but ambitious.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
R&D Engineer
I applied online and about a month later, a recruiter called me. She asked about my background and told me about the job, then set up a meeting with the hiring manager. The whole process was easy and I learned a lot. After that, I interviewed with the hiring manager, a Principal Scientist, and the Senior Director. They were really respectful of my schedule. I found out all about the role, the company culture, the team, what I'd be doing, and the development plan.
- Can you tell me about your resume and experience?
- Can you discuss your experience with the technologies mentioned in the job description?
R&D Engineer
They flew me out to NY. I had to give a presentation on a technical topic of my choice. Do NOT take an interview if they are going to fly you out. They say they will reimburse you for hotel and travel fees but they don't.
- Can you discuss your experience and any past projects you've worked on?
