The recruiter first reached out for an initial phone screening. After that, I had a video interview with the manager, which lasted about 40-45 minutes. The following week, I was scheduled for four 45-minute interviews with different team members based in the UK and USA. It's been over a month since then, and I haven't received any feedback from the recruiter or manager. I've tried emailing and calling the recruiter over the past two weeks, but all calls went to voicemail and I haven't gotten a reply. It's a really unprofessional approach from the recruiter, especially since she was responsive initially during the interview process, but now that I'm following up on the decision, I'm being ghosted. A quick tip to recruiters: when a candidate invests a lot of time and energy into your interview process, please respect that by replying to their emails or calls, which only takes a couple of minutes. If you can't do that, maybe you're not cut out to be a recruiter.

This person felt the interview process was a complete waste of time, especially when interviewing for internal roles. They suspect the company often has a candidate lined up already and goes through the motions of interviewing others just to check a box for their recruitment policy. They found this practice to be unethical and inconsiderate, even mentioning that internal employees still had to face external interviewers. It seemed like a way for bosses to cover their tracks when they'd already decided on someone.

The interview process moved quickly, and I received an offer after just two interviews. Keep in mind that the process might differ depending on the operating company. They were accommodating with scheduling, and I was able to reschedule my interviews due to prior commitments.
