I applied online and was contacted via email to set up a phone interview, and the person emailing me was great about answering all my questions. The first interview was a phone screen where I was asked a question about arrays and another about testing an office printer. Then there was a two-week silence before another phone interview, which was more behavioral and included a testing question about a GPS. After a month of no contact, I was invited for an on-campus interview. This involved three interviews back-to-back, followed by a campus tour. If they like you, they invite you back for another round, but I didn't get that far and just received a t-shirt and a thank you. The cafeteria was good though!

I went through Palantir's interview process which felt very professional. It started with two phone interviews spaced about a week apart. These were fairly basic, focusing on testing an eReader and a smartphone. Then came the onsite interview, which was also quite straightforward. I spoke with three interviewers who all asked me to test different items. Following that, there was a lunch break and a product demonstration. After the demo, some candidates were taken for more interviews while the rest of us received t-shirts. I found out I didn't get the offer about a week after that.

First, I had a casual meet and greet with a Product Quality Engineer. About a week later, I went in for two full days of interviews with current employees. It felt like none of the interviewers had read my resume. Then, I was invited back to interview with one of the founders. He definitely hadn't read my resume and seemed disinterested in interviewing. It wasn't a great experience overall, but I stuck with it because I'd heard good things about working there.
