Administrative Assistant
I skipped the recruiter call and went straight into an interview with another admin. About a week later, they wanted to schedule two more interviews quickly with more admin team members. I made myself available even though I was traveling internationally. One of the interviewers seemed to genuinely enjoy our conversation. A week after that, I followed up, and they said the team was busy at an offsite. Another week passed, I followed up again, and still nothing. About three weeks later, I got an email saying they “determined that we do not have a position that is a strong match for your qualifications at this time.” They did mention that I was great to work with during the process.

Administrative Assistant
I recently interviewed for an Administrative Assistant position and was really surprised by how different the experience was. The company had a unique and vibrant culture. The interview was a mix of traditional questions about my experience and skills, plus some really interesting and thought-provoking questions that let me showcase my personality and creativity. The interviewer was friendly and engaging, and made me feel comfortable. What really stood out was the emphasis on cultural fit. They seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me as a person. I left the interview feeling energized and excited about the possibility of joining their team. It was a unique and engaging interview process with a friendly interviewer. They emphasized cultural fit and seemed to value creativity, personality, and a strong cultural fit. Some questions were a bit unconventional. I highly recommend interviewing here if you're looking for a company that values these things. Be prepared to answer some out-of-the-box questions, relax and be yourself, and show your enthusiasm for the company and the role.
- What is your motivation for being here?
Administrative Assistant
I had an interview in early December that included a phone and an in-person interview, but they didn't move forward with me. I heard I got good feedback, but just didn't make the cut. They contacted me again in June of this year to re-interview me with 3 Skype interviews, which felt like a waste of my time again. I was really excited about the company and their mission. If they didn't think I was qualified initially, they shouldn't have re-interviewed me and raised my hopes. It was a huge disappointment! I'm sure my initial positive feelings about the company are still valid. However, they really need to improve their recruiting and interview process. It's terrible!
