The hiring process involved a lot of paperwork, which is pretty standard. They ran background checks, a drug screen, and took fingerprints. The company was easy to work with and understanding. The whole thing took about 45 days. They arranged an interview with a representative from the company I'd be working for, and then I just had to wait for the background checks to clear.

I applied online through my university's job posting website. A day or two later, I got an e-mail from the recruiter asking if I could meet up for an interview at my school. I went and the interview was basically an in-depth explanation of the job and what it entailed. She only asked me about two questions. I think this was basically to see if the applicant was still interested in the position after hearing every little detail about it. She told me there is quite a bit of a turnover rate in this position, so it had to be a good fit for both the person and company. I expressed interest and moved onto a 2nd interview in the branch's office with a recruiter and a senior lead recruiter. My interview went well, but I didn't receive an offer.

Interview was pretty straightforward. Recruiter reached out saying I had the right skills for a position and promised me the world. I had a phone interview, then interviewed in person, and even received an offer. However, it was rescinded not after a background check, but after the recruiter GOOGLED my name online. PALADIN consulting broke the LAW against fair hiring practices and discrimination. I filed a complaint with an EEO firm with my lawyer and am currently going through mediation because they knew what they did was illegal. If you want to join a team that does not mind breaking the law this is the spot to be.

The interview experience was really pleasant, and the questions asked were suitable. However, the pay scale seems a bit low compared to other contracting companies. The questions were very direct and quick. It seemed like the interviewer didn't fully understand the responsibilities of the role.
