It was a pretty straightforward and uncomplicated process. The interviewer basically just walked me through the responsibilities associated with the roles and what would be expected of me. They also inquired about my background and any previous work that might be relevant to this position.

Technical

I went through the interview process with PAE Company and got an offer. While I'm interested in joining, I'm pretty disappointed with the salary they offered. It was way lower than what's typical for this kind of job in the industry. It makes me wonder if they really pay competitively. It's a bummer because the job needs a good amount of skill and experience. Also, the offer didn't have much in terms of extra benefits to make up for the lower pay. So, the whole package wasn't great. I think good pay is important to get and keep good people, and this offer doesn't really do that. I'm still interested in PAE, but I hope they can rethink how they handle compensation so everyone feels valued and paid fairly for what they do.

Behavioral Technical

This was a very LONG process for a job that only pays $13 an hour. It started with an online application, then there was a first interview, followed by a security background check and a drug test. After that, I had a second interview with the office I would be working in. Then, I had to wait for the security background check results to come back before I could get an offer letter. They mentioned the start date would be two to three weeks later.

Behavioral Technical Group Presentation

It was a 3-round process. First, I had a video interview with the hiring manager. Then, there was another video interview with 6 people who work there, but I didn't get to talk to each of them for very long. Finally, I had an in-person interview at the office. There were some delays in communication, but they were more responsive than most engineering companies I've dealt with. I received a phone call informing me about my final non-offer, which was thoughtful.
