I submitted an online application, then had a phone screen and an onsite interview. After the final interview, I was supposed to get an email about background checks within a week, but I never did. I had to proactively reach out to the hiring manager and keep checking the portal for updates. The company was going through an asset sale, which probably caused some confusion. Hopefully, in the future, companies will be more considerate of candidates' time. The whole process took about two months, which is unusual for a finance/accounting role. I'm giving a neutral rating because the hiring manager was nice throughout.

I applied online on August 9th. Then, I had an in-person interview on September 5th. It was a panel interview with 4 people, although one of them was joining remotely. We were in a conference room, and everyone was seated close to me, which made it feel more comfortable.

I had a phone call to set up the phone interview, and they were punctual. I was impressed. I wasn't as ready as I should have been and wasn't sure about my availability with other commitments, so I decided to just go with it. The interviewers were really professional and encouraging. They got back to me later to say they'd found someone for the role. It seemed like they had a great team. I felt like I let them down. The main interviewer even took the time to suggest what I should focus on and told me to look for future openings there. I really didn't expect any follow-up. They handled it really well.

Started with a phone call, then about a month later they had me fly out to Salt Lake City for an in-person. They interviewed 9 people out of 1000 applicants. During the interview, they asked me if I smoked, if I had a good driving record, and general project management questions. After the interview, I had to take a test on forward/backward pass and critical path using PMBOK symbols but they didn't match.
