Customer Service Representative
I met with the store manager one-on-one in a room. They asked me a lot of situation questions and wrote down my answers. There were about 5-7 questions. They told me about how the holiday season works and that I'd have to work Sundays and Mondays in December. The interview lasted about 15-20 minutes, and I got the job offer the same day.
- Do you have experience with DOS computer systems or interfaces without a mouse?
- What's your expected tenure with the company?
- Can you work on Sundays and Mondays?
Home Theater Sales Associate
It was a pretty chill interview with the sales manager right there on the sales floor. They asked some basic questions like what I'd do if a certain situation came up, and also asked me to share a past experience where I faced a similar situation and explain how I handled it.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- How would you handle a specific scenario?
- Describe a past situation and how you resolved it.
Appliance Sales Specialist
Had a 6 question interview with the Pac manager. He asked me some questions about how to talk to customers and then 6 kind of tough questions about customer and peer situations. Some were pretty awkward. Then had a final interview with the Best Buy store manager.
- Can you describe a situation where you successfully managed a challenging customer interaction from beginning to end?
- In what ways do you add value to your team?
- Describe the least effective member of your team and the steps you took to support them.
Inventory Specialist
Had a phone call first to set up an in-person interview with the Manager and Supervisor. Then the Supervisor and Manager took turns asking me questions about my past job duties and my current warehouse and inventory experience.
- Can you lift over 70 pounds?
