First, HR did a quick call to see if I was a decent fit. Then, I had an interview with the hiring manager who mainly focused on my skills and experience. Lastly, there was a panel interview with people from other departments to check if I’d fit in with the team culture.

Behavioral Case

The hiring process was super fast. First, I had a quick chat with the recruiter, then a longer conversation with the hiring manager. The next week, I went in for a half-day of interviews where I met with about 9 people in total. It included several one-on-one meetings and some group interviews with 3 people on each panel. Everyone was really nice and seemed genuinely interested in me. It was a great experience, but I had to decline the offer because I couldn't relocate to Portland due to a family matter.

The QA manager met me at the front office, we walked to the building I would be working at and he had a sheet of prepared questions to ask. We then went over my resume and the job description. At the end we took a tour of the facility and explained breifly how the manufacturing process worked.

I applied online and got a call the very next day for an interview. It was about an hour long and had a panel with HR, two warehouse leads, and the production manager. They asked a bunch of questions mostly about inventory and teamwork, with the usual answer being 'first in, first out.' After that, there was a quick math test where I had to sum up some weights. Pretty straightforward stuff. A few days later, they called to say I'd get the offer, and the email arrived a day or two after that.
