The interview process was great. The interviewer asked clear questions, and I felt I could answer them honestly. They really live their core values, and I'm hoping to join the company.

The whole thing took like 5 months. There were these super long gaps between interviews where nobody communicated, so I seriously thought I didn't get it a few times.

So my experience was pretty rough, same as others I've seen. First, there was a phone interview, then a pretty involved skills test. After I passed that, I had another Zoom interview. It took them ages to get back to me, and even then, it was to say I didn't get the job. Apparently, they usually take two finalists to the last round and keep a third person hanging as a backup, which is pretty shady. They should either move all three forward or at least tell the third person they're out. Stringing people along like that is just not cool.

I applied through idealist and heard back pretty quickly about a phone interview. Interviewer was accommodating when I have internet issues and we needed to reschedule. Phone interview lasted around 45 min and was informative, questions were not difficult. I was asked to create user account on their site and told interviews would continue next week if I was selected. From there, it took almost two months for me to get a response that interviews would not be moving forward.
