Behavioral

The interview process was pretty laid-back and easygoing. They mostly asked straightforward questions, like about my strengths and weaknesses, and some general behavioral ones. It was a very relaxed interview, with no pressure at all.

Behavioral Technical

The hiring process for this role consisted of a preliminary phone screening, a discussion with the hiring manager, and a concluding panel interview involving the team. Initial interactions were smooth, and I received positive signals after each stage. However, during the final interview, a key team member had to leave early, cutting short my opportunity to ask questions. My inquiry about their current documentation and deployment practices was met with a vague response, and I felt my question might have been poorly received by that individual. Following the final interview, I was informed of a 1-2 week timeline for a decision. Despite multiple follow-ups over several weeks yielding no response, I eventually received a generic rejection email almost two months later. While the beginning of the process was promising, the lack of communication and closure at the end was disappointing. I hope they can improve their candidate experience management in the future.

Behavioral Technical Coding

So, there are about three big steps for this interview. First, you'll have a 30-minute phone chat with someone from HR. After that, they'll give you this 4-part content assignment to check out your writing skills. If they like what they see, you'll get a virtual interview with the Hiring Manager and their boss. The final step is an on-site interview with three different panel interviews with heads of departments. They want to see how you'd work with everyone since this role works with a lot of people. They all seemed really nice, but the VP of Digital Strategy was the one asking all the tough questions and seemed to be in charge. It's a good team, but the pay is only 50k which seems low for what they expect. It could lead to other things, but might not be worth the effort.

Group Behavioral

It was a group interview with five people total. I met the head supervisor of the Usher team. They asked the whole group the same questions, then they picked one person at random for an individual question. The questions they asked were standard ones about how you would do the job and about yourself. It was a good way for them to see who was personable.
