First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at P.volve.
Project Manager
The interview process involved 3 steps. They asked standard interview questions and went over the role details. It then turned into more of a conversation to check for personality fit. Overall, it was a pleasant interview experience.
- Why are you interested in working for us?
PA
I got a quick reply after applying and had a phone interview that went well. After that, I went in person to meet the team. Even though I thought the interviews went well, they might not have been as impressed with my work. That's fine, but the real issue was what happened next. I was told I'd get an email within a week. But, nobody ever emailed me to at least let me know they chose someone else. I even reached out twice to ask about my status, and I still didn't get a reply. I'm mature enough to take a rejection, but to totally ghost me and not even have the respect to send a rejection email? That felt awful and was incredibly unprofessional.
- Can you explain what inspired the formatting of your resume?
Customer Service Agent
I went through two interviews, first a phone call with the team lead, then a video call with the head of the team. They were more like chats than actual interviews, which was pretty cool and a nice change of pace during the job search.
- Regarding your experience at [past employer], can you tell me about your familiarity with the tools and software utilized at P.volve?
Marketing
Really liked the interview process. HR got back to me fast about setting up video calls and then my decision. The chats were chill, and you can tell they really care about culture.
- What do you like best about this job and what do you like least about your present job?
