The interview was about an hour long, with a 30-minute interview followed by a 30-minute to 2-hour AutoCAD test. The HR person mentioned it could take about 2 weeks to hear back, and also noted they often lose candidates due to their lengthy hiring process. After 2 weeks and a few days, I emailed HR on a Friday. She replied quickly, saying they were finishing round 1 interviews and would contact me by Tuesday. Tuesday passed, so I emailed again on Friday. She then informed me they were in the middle of an expansion and had paused interviewing, despite still posting jobs. I assumed I was no longer a candidate but hoped for confirmation. They contacted my references after I completed the test, which made me think they were interested. Finally, after 3 months, she informed me they would hire entry-level CAD Designers, a message that could have been sent much earlier.

After applying, I was contacted by PM&A pretty quickly, within a week. The first interview was with a recruiter, and it was pretty standard stuff, like asking about my 5-year goals and whether I like working solo or with others. She also asked some specific things about my resume, which was cool 'cause it meant she actually read it. After that, I had a quick, minute-long test to see if I could spot small differences on invoices. About a week later, I chatted with the department manager for the second interview, which felt more like a casual conversation about the job. I got an offer a few days after that.

Got an email with some basic questions upfront. Then had a phone interview which went fine, and we set up an in-office CAD test that took about an hour. I'm from out of town and paid for my own flights, no reimbursement. It all seemed to go really well, and when I asked if there were any concerns about me, they said I was a perfect fit. About a week after the in-person interview, I got a generic rejection email with no explanation.

My first interview was with the office manager. They told me about the company and asked general questions about my past work, personality, and values. Then, I met with the real estate lead. We discussed the role in more detail and how I'd fit with the team. Finally, I interviewed with the directors of operations and real estate.
