First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at P.F. Chang's.
Manager
I met with several key stakeholders over the course of one week. My recruiter was amazing! She moved things along, answered all my questions, and provided a fair offer. I interviewed with several people and had all my questions answered at the time.
- Tell me about a challenging situation you experienced.
Senior Manager
It was a 3 part interview process. First, I had a phone interview with the corporate recruiter. Next, I had another phone interview with the Market Partner, who is the Regional Manager. The final step was a face-to-face interview at the restaurant with the Market Partner and the Operating Partner (GM). During this final stage, I had lunch with the Market Partner where they asked more detailed questions about my background. After lunch, I spent about an hour to an hour and a half touring the restaurant with the GM and getting to know them and the staff. The whole process took about a month from when I sent in my resume to getting the offer. Overall, it was a really good interview experience.
- What key learnings have you gained from your past work experiences?
Restaurant Manager
I met with the Regional Manager and the General Manager of the property, and I really liked the company, their concept, and what they're all about as a corporation. They gave me a good sense of their values and where they see the company headed in the next year, the next 5 years, and looking out to the next 20 years.
- How would you handle the process of terminating an employee's employment?
