Behavioral Case

The first interview was in person with the school manager. It was a 1:1 discussion, followed by a tour of the school. About a week or two later, I had a second interview via Zoom with a senior partner from Vancouver. This interview felt rushed, and he presented a work scenario without much discussion. Despite having 8 years of experience in a similar role, I was not offered the entry-level position.

Had a video call with the recruitment manager. They were very nice and asked straightforward questions. They are looking for candidates who are ready for the challenge. The job is very energy-demanding, so they need people who are quick thinkers, patient, and willing to understand and dedicate time and effort to the program's functioning.

We had a phone call where we introduced ourselves and talked about what I and the employer are looking for. Then, I was asked some prepared questions about my background, education, work history, and different scenarios. We discussed how to identify strengths and weaknesses and how to resolve a conflict. We also talked about salary expectations and my availability. Finally, there was a follow-up with references.
