First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Oxford Industries.
Product Development
The interview process was tough. It began with an HR screening, followed by a meeting with a department manager. They asked a very open-ended question and weren't very conversational. It felt like everything went through a recruiter, and I didn't feel like they were trying to get to know me personally or what I bring to the table. They asked a lot of 'personality' based questions that were hard to answer on the spot.
- What are your main objectives for the coming five years?
Product Manager
I applied for a role at FIT and went through two interviews before they got back to me. The HR department was very professional and the people were really nice and decent. I look back on it fondly now because it feels like more and more companies are losing that human touch during interviews.
- Can you tell me about an accomplishment you are proud of?
Logistics Specialist
The interview process was very efficient and thorough. They asked about my experience and how I could contribute to their organization. They were quick to respond after I applied, replying within a few weeks. I was offered a second interview within two weeks of the first.
- Can you describe your leadership style?
Credit Analyst
The interview process took a few weeks. It included two phone calls and then an in-person interview. I spoke with three people in total: the HR person I first talked to, my potential manager, and the head of the department.
- Can you share an instance where you took initiative or leadership in your current role?
