Market Research Analyst
The interview process was super easy and only took a few hours, which made me feel relaxed and comfortable. While this relaxed atmosphere isn't always found in companies, there were three one-on-one interviews that felt a bit awkward and could have been skipped.
- Tell me about the skills you have acquired.
Senior Java Developer
The interview will focus more on the basics and coding skills. Expect questions on threading, collections, garbage collection (GC), algorithms, and object-oriented (OO) design. After the technical rounds, there will be managerial rounds with the co-founder and the director of engineering.
- Can you explain the happens-before relationship, Cyclic Barrier, and CountDownLatch in Java threading?
- Given a binary tree, how would you write a function to determine if it's symmetric around its root?
- How would you approach the object-oriented design for a chess game?
Software Engineer
It started with a phone screening, then there were four back-to-back rounds that delved into both technical and personal aspects of my background. They covered analytics, OOP, my entire work history, and included salary negotiation.
