Technical Trainer
The vetting process felt thorough but also friendly and comfortable. The interviews were mostly conversational. It was great to talk shop with two of the tech resources, who turned out to be my first and second line managers. They seemed like good guys.
- Can you share your technical knowledge?
- Can you discuss your professional history and experience?
Software Engineer
The recruiter reached out pretty fast and we scheduled a phone chat. The recruiter was nice and always got back to me. There were some odd things with HR though, it took them more than a week to set up my assessment test because they kept messing up my email address.
- Solve a couple of Leetcode medium problems in C++, with a 20-minute time limit for each.
- Solve a couple of Leetcode medium problems in C#, with a 20-minute time limit for each.
Linux/Unix Systems Engineer
First, there was a written C++ coding test, then an HR interview. After that, I had an interview with the hiring manager to go over my qualifications and the job description. Finally, I met with the manager and their supervisor to talk about some topics I didn't have experience in.
- Could you explain SELinux policy and its role in hardening Red Hat Enterprise Linux?
Project Manager
I had a Teams meeting for a panel interview. They responded quickly and made an attractive offer with great benefits and staff. The CEO gave a positive review and the HR experience was good too. I didn't choose Owl because another company was closer to my home.
- Can you tell me which application you use for creating schedules?
