Behavioral Technical Case

I had a first chat that lasted about 30 to 45 minutes with a Team Leader. Then, there was a manager interview that was about 1 hour and 15 minutes long. This interview included business-related questions, two practical exercises, and some questions about my motivation. Finally, I had a last interview at their office.

The platform for booking my slot and preparing introductory/knowledge material about the company was very useful and convenient. It was less professional that they contacted me by email to confirm the second interview but, after I replied, they didn't let me know anything.

Coming from a similar industry, I applied for an AE position at OVRSEA. We set up a first 45-minute screening call with a senior TA manager. The call went very well, but I still spotted several red flags. At the end of the call, we agreed on the next steps and I expected to hear back within a maximum of one week. However, that was not the case; I was ghosted. I tried to follow up by email, but no response. The lack of diversity is a problem here. During the call, the recruiter admitted that they only hired people based on recommendations from current employees. As a result, everyone on the team is from the same school or the same companies. If you don't know anyone who works there or didn't attend the same school as others, it's better to invest your time and energy elsewhere, as you won't be considered. Another tip: take the time to read the reviews on Glassdoor regarding the work environment. They can help you spot red flags during the interview process. I wouldn't be surprised if everything mentioned in the reviews is true. They might say the US office is different from the main headquarters in Paris, but I don't think that's the case. Stay away!

It was a really thorough and long process. I met with a bunch of different people from various departments, including people who were in lower management and even some C-level execs. They seemed to really value honest feedback after each chat, and I had plenty of chances to ask questions in between meetings.
