Had a quick HR chat to discuss my skills and what I'm looking for, then a take-home technical test which the HR person said was pretty good a few days later. Then an HR call to let me know that despite the test result, OVH is moving forward with candidates who have prior experience with their specific technologies. While I understand this, they knew from the start about my experience level, so wasting my time with a test wasn't exactly respectful. It makes sense why OVH isn't a global player with such flawed management logic.

I had one phone screen interview, then a second interview with HR. Unfortunately, I didn't hear back for over 3 weeks. When I followed up with HR, they told me they went with another candidate. I'm disappointed I wasn't kept in the loop. Isn't that HR's job? The job isn't really account management; it's more of a hunting role – 80% hunting and 20% farming. The salary is 70% base and 30% commission, split between team and individual commission.

After filling out a quick online questionnaire, I had an interview that was both in-person and via video call. The questions were pretty standard and I felt relaxed. It was mainly to see if the company and I were a good match for the job. I have nothing but good things to say about how it went. I'm hoping to hear back, as it seems like a great place to work. I haven't received an offer yet.
