First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Overlook Hospital.
Patient Care Technician
Had a first call, easy 30 min virtual, asked me what I know about the system and why I applied. Then scheduled interview with nice managers, asked me two questions and that was it. Later on got an offer.
- What is your understanding of the system?
- What made you apply for this role?
Patient Care Technician
They never called me back after the interview. The interview itself was very long and boring. They mentioned they were interviewing 15 other people, which gave me little hope.
- Tell me about your strengths and weaknesses.
Registered Nurse
It was a great interview, and the opportunity sounds amazing. Not all interviewers are as good as the one I experienced today. I would recommend opportunities here to help learn and create new skills and experiences for yourself in your career and to help others.
- Can you describe a challenging night in the ER and how you managed it?
Patient Care Technician
It was a very formal and sincere interview, lasting 20 minutes, where they asked a lot of questions. Although it was virtual, the interviewers were very welcoming and nice. They were direct when needed.
- Can you describe a situation where you felt overwhelmed?
- What do you consider to be your weaknesses and advantages?
