It was a pretty straightforward interview, I met the team in person and we talked about the day-to-day tasks and client work. They asked about my experience, what I'm capable of, and if I could handle the job. They also tested my knowledge of the tools and work processes.

The CEO reached out to me and invited me for a zoom interview. Overall, the discussion was positive. They asked me some technical questions regarding Google Ads; I couldn't answer some questions because I was too nervous about speaking. Three interviewers were really nice to talk to me about the answer and how I could answer their questions. I can tell that they tried to comfort my nervousness while staying their professionalism. I felt terrible that I did not prepare well for this interview since Overdrive Interactive's missions and values inspire me. I genuinely enjoy the conversation with their CEO and hiring managers, who can literally help you grow and rethink.

The interview process involved a presentation, a math skills test, and then a meeting with two people for a presentation and a formal interview. I felt good about it, but then the hiring manager ghosted me after I followed up via email. It seems unprofessional to make someone prep a 5+ hour PowerPoint presentation and then not even send a courtesy email to let them know they went with someone else.

The interview process at Overdrive was surprisingly quick and easy. I spoke with four different employees and got an immediate job offer. This really should have been a warning sign. Overdrive seems to hire almost anyone and then just see if they can make it work. Be very careful if this is a place you actually want to work!
