First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Outreach, Inc..
Media Consultant
It was a really nice interview process. I started with an initial HR call that was about 30 minutes. Then, I had a quick chat with my future boss, the VP of Media Sales. After that, we scheduled my in-office interview. When I went in, I met with both the VP of Media Sales and the Manager of Ad Ops. We finished up with a lunch meeting with the VP of Media Sales, and then I was done. I got the offer two days after and started a week later.

Applied online, sent my resume and cover letter. Got contacted the same evening to do an initial online cognitive test. Then came in person the next business day for an interview. Had a broad personality interview first, then a technical one, and finally a group personality interview. The hiring process was clear and concise, and my hiring manager kept me in the loop. The process was intense but good, and I liked how they spent time making sure it was a good fit for me too, which made me comfortable.

The interview was very in-depth, we had 5 rounds of interviews including a phone screen, an assessment, a group panel and 2 interviews with the hiring manager. On the plus side, my hiring manager kept me informed about how I was doing throughout the multi-step process. I liked how they took a lot of time to figure out if Outreach was a good fit for me too, which made me comfortable spending all this interview time with them since I felt like they were invested in hiring the right person. I also felt it was a really great group of people, so the time was well invested. However, they did give me a feeling that they may have hired the wrong person in the past, so were very cautious about hiring. There also seemed to be little room for growth based on some of the statements made, which I wasn't too worried about. There is high demand for online services and also people with that experience; this is also an industry that is typically well-funded, so whether it was management or the industry itself, Outreach seemed slightly more risk-averse in some ways.

Had a quick chat with the recruiter first. Then, I had a 30-minute phone call where they asked some general technical questions and also some career-related ones. The next step was supposed to be a technical interview.
