Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Outreach Health Services.
AR Specialist
I interviewed with the team lead and supervisor. The interview was very informative, and they went over the day-to-day duties and expectations. It really made me feel like I already had the job. I was very comfortable going over my previous experience and knowledge as to why I would be a great fit for this role. It has been 2 weeks since my interview and I haven't heard anything back. I applied with Outreach through a temp service. The supervisor told me that I should hear something back from them within a week as she had 2 other candidates and an internal interview. I was really excited and had high hopes of starting with this company. I kind of feel like they might have went with the internal employee, as she did state to me that they hire from within and referrals a lot.
- Can you elaborate on why you would be a great fit for this role?
- Can you share your previous experience and knowledge?
Home Health Aide
The interview began with a review of my prior work experience and abilities. They specifically inquired about my fluency in Spanish and my knowledge of computer software, like Microsoft Office. The interviewers seemed a bit unfriendly from the outset and weren't dressed very formally.
- Can you tell me about a weakness you have?
Help Desk Administrator
You'll start with an interview with the IT Manager, then meet the IT Director. If you pass that, you'll then meet the whole IT Team for technical questions to confirm you're qualified.
- Can you tell me about your greatest weakness?
Substance Abuse Counselor
It was a short, quick interview, straight to the point. A lot of places will hire you on the spot because they really need therapists. Just a heads up, the hours they require are pretty unusual and often include weekends.
