First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Otterbein University.
Student Worker
It was ok. Not too stressful or long. They asked about my experience and what I wanted to do after graduation, like my major and minor. I interviewed twice, but the pay was low.
- What makes you want to work at Otterbein?
Marketing Coordinator
For an entry-to-mid-level position, a 3-hour interview with multiple employees from different divisions on campus is definitely overkill. I get that I would work with them in some capacity, but it's not necessary to have so many people involved in the hiring decision for this role.
- Was asked if I’m petty.
Graduate Assistant
First, you need to complete the GMAT exam and get accepted into the graduate program. Then, you will meet with your supervisor. After that, there's a waiting period for a decision on your application. You might also have a meeting with the department director.
- Could you describe your ability to manage both work and academic commitments effectively?
