The interview process involved 2 in-person rounds before a decision was made. The whole thing took about 2 weeks. They asked standard questions about packaging and supply chain management. It was a pretty easy interview overall. The salary was mid-range, so I didn't accept the offer three days after it was made.

So you apply, and then they screen you, maybe with a quick phone call to start. The first chat is about your general background and skills, and they might give you a skills test. Then, you'll probably have a second interview with managers or a group of people. If that goes well, you'll have a final interview where you talk about the offer, maybe discuss salary, and they do a background check. After all that, you get the official offer and start onboarding.

About two weeks after I applied, a recruiter reached out to set up an initial interview. This first chat was pretty basic, mostly covering my background and why I was interested in the company and this specific job. The recruiter wrapped up by outlining what was next: a virtual interview with the manager, then a virtual panel interview. The next week, I got an email to schedule that virtual chat with the engineering manager. This interview felt pretty structured, with planned questions. The manager kicked things off with a rundown of the role, then we dove into the questions, which were mainly behavioral, focusing on my testing experience, how I handle teamwork, and overcoming obstacles. The day after that, I got an email to schedule a virtual panel interview for the following week. This panel included two senior test engineers and a technician supervisor. The entire interview lasted about an hour, and they each took turns asking about my experience and what I'd do in different hypothetical job scenarios. For instance, they showed me a new phone case and asked about the features I'd focus on for a test plan and why. They also asked me to walk them through how I'd design a test fixture for water ingress testing. Many of the questions had follow-ups, but their main goal seemed to be understanding my problem-solving approach. I felt pretty good about the whole thing, even though I could have been more concise on some answers. Showing genuine interest and curiosity really seemed to help, and the interviewers were friendly and seemed keen on finding someone who aligned with the team and the company's mission.

I went through 3 video interviews for this role. They all seemed to really like me throughout each round. After the last interview, I sent a follow-up message but never heard back. I find it really disrespectful to put someone through such a lengthy process and then not even respond to let them know they didn't get the job. It's a major red flag for me because it shows a lack of decency or courtesy to thank candidates for their time. They make you feel like you're the one and promise to push for you, only to leave you hanging with no further communication. BEWARE!!
