Sales Representative
The hiring process felt super long, taking a full month from the first chat to the offer. This was even with me having to follow up multiple times. It involved three phone calls, an online sales assessment called 'SPQ Gold Assessment' that digs into your selling weaknesses, and a face-to-face interview with a management panel. After applying online, I had a basic HR phone interview within two weeks. Then came the in-person interview where I had to fill out a lengthy application form, basically rewriting my resume from memory and recalling high school dates. After that, the next week I got an email for the hour-long SPQ Gold Assessment to do at home. The week after that, I spoke with the National Sales Manager on the phone. Another week later, I had a phone interview with the Director. Finally, another week after that, they offered me the job verbally and had me come in to sign the papers in person.

- Did you let your supervisor know about the customer complaint?
Technical Sales
I had a 1:1 interview. The interviewer was super nice and I felt it went really well, like my best interview ever. He mentioned liking me and enjoying our chat, even bringing up potential work locations. He said he'd follow up via email, but I never heard back. Despite calling and emailing multiple times, I only got a rejection letter over a month later.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself and your background?
Sales
I had a first-round interview on campus at the career fair. I talked to a sales manager first, who told me a lot about the company and what a sales intern does day-to-day. Right after that, I spoke with someone from HR who asked me more personal questions. The whole thing took about 30 minutes.
- What qualities make you stand out from other candidates for this role?
