Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OTIS.
Sales Engineer
I had to prepare tender documents for clients, both private and public sector. Then I worked with contractors, government bodies, and suppliers on getting drawings approved, making sure things were compliant, and chasing up project progress and payments.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Sales Engineer
The process involved 3 interviews initially, but they froze the position I was applying for. Later, they initiated a new process, and I ended up declining the offer. The selection process itself was quite straightforward. The company shows organization throughout the entire process.
- What experience do you have in this role?
- Can you describe your experience with the territory and your typical client visit routine?
Sales Engineer
I had a direct interview with the manager at their office. It was a standard process: they introduced the company, the role, and I introduced myself. Even though I have 13 years of experience, they considered me a junior profile, so the salary was fixed and not negotiable. There's no company car for "junior" profiles.
