It was a super thorough, all-day interview process. I met with the heads of different engineering groups. They asked me both personal questions and technical questions that were relevant to the work in their specific groups. I was interviewed for mechanical, electrical, and software engineering roles.

I had a phone interview with the Hiring Manager, which went really well. Then HR called me to come to Florence for an in-person interview. When I got there, the Engineering Manager wasn't available, so I had a one-on-one with the person who greeted me. After that, I had two group interviews and a tour of the production and test areas. The HR person who was supposed to interview me was on vacation. The interviews themselves were mostly fine, except one interviewer asked weird questions about how long I've been at my current job (9 years!) and couldn't understand my technical explanations, while another interviewer seemed annoyed with him. I found out on Friday that I didn't get the job via email. It took about 6 weeks to get my travel expenses reimbursed by HR, which was a bad experience. The job is still open 3 months later, so I think the Florence location is disorganized.
