Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OTIS.
Administrative
The interview process involved four rounds. Initially, there was a phone interview with the person who previously held the role. This was followed by a meeting with HR and other department heads you would work with. The third round was an interview with the manager overseeing the position. The fourth and final round was with the director of the department. It took over a month after the interviews were completed to receive the final offer for the job.
- Can you describe your ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently?
Secretary
It's going to be a long day with 3 department heads asking random questions, it's gonna be the biggest pain in the butt. Bring a sandwich to eat. Why does the smell of jewel make me queasy?
- What is your biggest weakness?
Administrative
There were three interview rounds, two with HR and one with the direct supervisor. On top of that, there was a written test, a very traditional one, in both English and Chinese.
