First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OTIS.
Design Engineer
First, there was a tool test. After that, I had an interview, and then a manager round where they asked about my profile and my reason for changing jobs, along with salary expectations. So, tool test first, then two interview rounds.
- Can you do the tool test and answer some basic design questions?
- Can you tell me about your profile?
- What's the reason for your job change?
Engineer
I went through 3 interviews total. The first was a recruiter call, and the following two interviews each had 3 other people present. The whole process moved quickly, and I got an offer within 3-4 weeks of interviewing. It wasn't an overly tough interview process if you're already qualified for the role.
- Can you describe the duties of your current role?
- How do your duties in your current role relate to this job opportunity?
Project Engineer
Only two interviews, but they lowballed the offer. It takes them too long (many weeks) to respond back with uncompetitive terms like long notice periods and as-and-when work hours. Seems like a high turnover rate with a high-stress environment.
- Is overtime expected?
- Is paperwork expected?
