We did a walk-through of the factory and I got to check out the machines people use and what a typical day involves. It felt pretty relaxed. The whole thing lasted about 45 minutes.

Had a phone interview and then a face to face. They asked about my previous work experience and why I was interested in Oskar Blues, but it wasn't standard interview questions. The interview was about an hour and fifteen minutes long. I got to ask questions at the end, which led to some good discussions. I made it to the final round but didn't get the job.

It was a really really odd interview process. They seemed so disinterested in interviewing me and dismissive. We went over the questions, etc. Talked about coming for an in person interview and the managers kept talking about how boring the job was, how tedious are you SURE you'd even be willing to do something like this. OK, we'll call you for a next interview. Never heard from them again. One of those odd places in the brewing industry where everyone seems to tell this interview story.
