First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OSI Systems.
Java Intern
The interview process has 5 rounds. First is an assessment round with two medium DSA questions, one spring-boot question, and one database question, plus two aptitude questions. Selected candidates then face a level-1 Technical interview asking about basic DSA, oops, and springboot basics, plus some situation-based code practicals. Round 3 is a level-2 Technical interview, mostly asking the same things. Then, there's a Managerial round where the Director asks personal questions, an introduction, and some situation-based technical questions. The final round is an easy HR round.

VP Business Development
The interview process was straightforward. It involved several meetings with line management and people in adjacent roles. The discussions mainly focused on GTM strategy, competitors, similar sectors, and the impact of software on the industry. There were about three main interview meetings, and then a separate chat with HR about salary and benefits.

Finance Director
I found the job posting on outside job sites and applied on the company's website. A few weeks later, HR called to set up a phone interview. It went great. She asked a lot about my past jobs, why I quit, and what I wanted salary-wise. She mentioned she'd already sent my info to the hiring manager, who was keen to talk to me. She said she'd call back in about a week to schedule it. She did. Shortly after we were scheduled, I got a text asking to move the call later that day, which I agreed to since I had time. When we finally spoke, he said he didn't think I had the experience he needed, but the recruiter insisted he talk to me. He started by asking why I thought I'd be a good fit. As I talked about myself and my background, he brought up concerns about where I live. I ignored that and kept talking about my manufacturing finance experience when he asked about working abroad. I explained my time living, working, and studying overseas, and he sarcastically asked if he was interviewing a linguist. It got more heated, condescending, and hostile. He muttered to himself and then yelled, 'let's not waste anymore time or belabor this conversation for another second.' He told me I wasn't what he was looking for and would never fit the firm, saying he was doing me a favor by not leading me on. He then added, 'We must have better resumes and candidates within the systems,' and hung up. I heard nothing more from them.

Field Technician
First, you apply online. About a week later, HR reaches out. I had a phone screen with them, then a more in-depth interview with a manager the same day. A week after that, I had an in-person interview with a local technician. This interview wasn't very professional; I was given a list of questions to read aloud while the interviewer recorded me. A week later, I was told I didn't get the job, despite being told I was a perfect fit. They really try to get you to accept less money. You need strong electronics experience and the ability to troubleshoot equipment under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Don't expect good pay for your expertise.
