It started with a phone call with the recruiter in the UK. A week later, I had a 30-minute online meeting with the hiring manager to discuss my experience further. I followed up for an update and two weeks after that, they replied they were checking availability for a final on-site interview. Due to internal procedure changes, we can't confirm if a second interview will happen.

The interviewer was 13 minutes late. Once they arrived they asked me to tell them about myself. The interviewer asked no further questions about me other than why I was considered a new role after only being in my current position for a couple months. I answered honestly that the cultural fit wasn't great with the way that contractors are treated. This was the same answer I provided the recruiter for this position. The interviewer asked no further questions and told the recruiter that I spoke negatively about my current employer, and spoke ill of my manager. I gave no information regarding individuals and simply answered the question honestly. Seems like this individual has the old school attitude that the employer is always right and any problems must be the fault of the employee. I provided this same answer to another company last week and was moved forward for a final interview on site in 2 days.

This was an internal interview since I was already an hourly employee. The process was pretty standard. They looked at everyone's qualifications, work history, education, and personality to see if they were a good fit. After the first look, they invited me for an interview with some senior managers. This included the HR manager, operations managers, and some supervisors. Just like most interviews, they asked standard questions about my background and experience, but they made them specific to the job I was applying for. Then, they asked about my personal likes and interests to see if my personality matched the company's vibe and goals. Each person there asked questions related to their own job and how it might affect my potential role. My advice? Be honest and be yourself. The only bad part was the slow response after the interview; it took longer than usual to hear back from the hiring manager.

So I went through five video interviews with this company, and I thought I was in the final stage. They told me they'd get back to me ASAP, but then... nothing. After a week, I followed up, and HR just said the hiring manager would call soon. A week later, same thing. Followed up again, still the same empty promise. They totally ghosted me. It was super frustrating and unprofessional, and honestly, a total waste of my time. Left me with a bad vibe about the whole company, and I wouldn't recommend them if you want any kind of respect or transparency in your job search.
