Technical Support
It was a pretty standard interview process. I felt like the questions they asked were really good and thorough. Everyone in the meeting asked their own questions, and they went through them all in an organized way.
- Can you explain what a switch is?
- What is a firewall?
Web Developer
The interview starts with a quick intro where you talk about your background and projects. Then, there's a technical test with some theory and coding challenges. They'll also give you a real problem to solve to see how you think. Lastly, they ask about teamwork and give you a chance to ask about the company or the job. Being clear, showing off your skills, and showing you're interested really helps.
- What's the difference between cookies, sessionStorage, and localStorage?
Receptionist
First, we'll do introductions where the hiring manager and you get to know each other. Make sure to maintain eye contact, good posture, and a positive attitude to build confidence. A friendly greeting like 'it's a pleasure to meet you' works well. If it's a panel interview, greet everyone warmly. After introductions, we'll move into a conversation. Speak courteously with the interviewer or panel members. They might ask personal questions to understand your personality and see if it fits the company culture, but try to make it a natural, friendly conversation. This is the first official interaction, so making a good impression is key. Next, you might be asked to briefly describe your background and why you want to join the team. They'll likely ask about you, your interests, motivations, aspirations, professional history, and general knowledge of the company. Practicing your introduction can help organize your thoughts and deliver a confident response. Following the introductions, we'll get into the more structured and technical part of the interview. Depending on the role and your experience, questions might be more or less technical. You could also be presented with hypothetical scenarios to get your thoughts and opinions. Focus on highlighting your unique qualities and why you'd be a valuable addition to the company. Towards the end, you'll be asked if you have any questions. Be prepared with questions about the role or anything important to you, as this shows your interest and commitment. After the Q&A, we'll wrap up. Thank the interviewer for their time, shake hands again, express your gratitude for the opportunity, and reiterate your interest in working with them. Some candidates also send a thank-you note the day after, either a physical letter or an email. To make it stand out, mention something interesting from the interview, showing you were attentive and value the opportunity.
- How long have you been working in this field?
- What is your experience level for this job?
- Tell me about your background and what you're interested in.
Intern
In my job interview, I went through different stages and tasks. First, there was an IQ test to assess my cognitive abilities like logical reasoning and problem-solving. Then, as a team, we had to create and present a presentation together with other applicants. This tested teamwork and communication. After that, I had to prepare and deliver a solo presentation, possibly on a given topic. Finally, there was an interview where I could answer questions and share my qualifications, experience, and motivation, and also see if I fit the company culture.
- What would be your approach if a team member is sick, causing customer flights to be canceled?
